Until all of Freeview becomes internet driven just before the UHF transmitters are shut down. Before too long, everything will be internet based and that includes your home phone

Continuing nervousness about medical problems. Have to report for scans in the morning and been told to expect to stay. PSA blood test (for prostate condition) gives a high reading. Also tubes need to be inserted in my remaining poorly functioning kidney. Sounds like something to be little nervous about.

That makes me nervous LongDriver…But I think that will be long after my demise…Perhaps not the phones, but definitely the UHF telly will be around for quite a while yet…

Talk TV has already shut down its UHF broadcast (Ch 237) with internet only connections now available.
budgets, knowing will be short, pulling out of savings and looking for another income stream.
It has suddenly become that way here with a new government under Labour. The rush to invest overseas has been phenomenal.

I wonder with the interest rates going down here in the states, if that’ll have some impact. Something of interest but I do not know enough of, FX transactions and gains or losses from that.
I’m hopeful to pick up a part time job. Just started looking.

Some of the UK investors and those that used to invest in UK companies etc, have now gone over to India as over there investment is encouraged from across the world, unlike here in the UK now. Labour always was a disaster for the investor and this present Labour Government will be even worse than before.
