That you would find very difficult to cut out, if your financial circumstances changed for the worst?
I live in a very luxurious world now . I remember when I had very little and worked 3 jobs for years so I know I’m very lucky .
I would miss my car as it is my wings . I can travel where I want without issue or problems , I just jump in and drive . Without my little mini I’d have to think twice . But I know one day I will have to let it go .
Oh and I’d miss my red wine too
I couldn’t let my hairdresser go, I’d be kicking and screaming, yet I could easily let my car go, reason being,I’ve been without one, and I managed quite well walking and travelling on buses.
Depends where you live I guess, in a small village, life would be rather difficult without a car.
Internet and Sky!
Not really understanding the question as to what is meant by luxury. For me being unable to buy and play computer games would not be nice but is it a luxury?
Yeah, how to define a luxury?
I suppose it’s anything you could physically exist without it
So anything that’s not food, water, roof over your head, warmth, medications
So that would make computer games a luxury?
My circumstances will not change until I die, so nothing will be will be cut out.
What luxuries do you enjoy then?
Define luxury?
Anything and everything I wish to buy, but as I have everything I need and want to enjoy my retirement, I will not be rushing out to spend needlessly just to boost the local retailer’s income.
Exactly!! My every day spending might be seen by some as decadent luxuries.
Eating and being able to heat your home might well become luxuries and probably are even now.
I would have to give up the maidens that come to bathe me in asses milk.
FTFY.
I’ve never experienced that LD…I remember David Beckam, going shopping,he never looked at the price, he just bought what he wanted, a life of luxury every day.
It’s only been later in life that I’ve just been able to buy luxury items without thinking about it (TVs sound systems that sort of thing )
Previously mortgage, car and general living took up any spare money (kids always had at least one holiday in this country each year. Some may see this as a luxury)
Thank you. You are so kind
Heating would also be difficult to live without, such a luxury, now I have it.
Not forgetting my beautician every 8 weeks, the luxury of being pampered,
I had to google that one Mr Fraggle…
