Took this today to demonstrate on another forum the best way to protect the glass on a certain lens that doesn’t have a hood … you talk nicely to the boss of your local camera shop and he’ll give you a “step-up ring”. Added bonus: it takes filters.
Just ordered one of these. Had one before but a cheap version, this is made for nikon so will be substantial build

having such long hair on the mike muffler gets seen on the photo/video when wide open
So thought this might work better having it along side bar will fit into camcorder base and mike bottom.

I have tried other wind noise reduction products but they are next to useless. it is only the long haired one that makes a difference but still not perfect
