I found this about the artist.
I took a picture of the smoke coming over the escarpment from the hazard reduction burns near the Avon dam. The air has been full of smoke for a few days because there is no wind to take it away.
Tonight that will all change with an East Coast low moving up from Gabo Island. The forecast is for 100kph winds tomorrow morning and some much needed rain.
I know it looks like cloud but it is all smoke, the sky is otherwise cloudless at the moment.
We walk a lot. I spotted this strangely coloured fern-like plant in the verge.

I was told by one of my cousins that it looks like and probably is a poisonous hemlock. Beware.
today I reverted to my Nikon D300 as I have a wide Nikon lens 12-24mm for it

I was at Woolloomooloo (Sydney) for the arrival, prior to decommissioning ,of my son’s ship HMAS Success.
What a miserable winters day it was too, it rained on and off and was so bloody cold - 16°C - the sea is warmer at 21°!

There was I walking through a woods on a wildlife hunt, when I came across this guy and a photographer. I left them too it, but took this on the sly
