What have you done today?

Hi

I am now in a side room isolation for 5 days.

The way the system works here is everything stops for 5 days, so earliest back on the main ward is Wednesday night, see Consultant next Thursday and they will then decide what needs to be done if the COVID has affected me and then back in the system for any tests and checks. This will be Friday at the earliest earlies.

Consultants do not work weekends, so earliest I can expect to be out is a week on Monday.

Really sorry to hear that Swimmy. Fingers crossed that at least the symptoms are minimal, at most.

Hard cack Swimmy, you’ve had it twice then ?? Who do you think you
caught it from ?? :-1::worried::-1:

That’s the trouble with hospitals, they’re full of sick people - definitely places to be avoided.

Resolved a lot of stuff, before the next lot of stuff hits shore.

The only way to get me into a hospital is to make me too terrified to stay out of one!

Went to watch Bedwas play my old University Cardiff Met :rugby_football:as my team weren’t playing

I made some delicious buckwheat egg , ham and cheese pancakes, went for a long swim and did some sunbathing! :sunglasses:

this afternoon rearranged my power sockets and camera chargers so cables no longer across the desk

that is a lot neater

Hi
Now that is neat.:+1:

I’ve been for a lovely walk …weather perfect had a whippy ice cream

Walked up to the convenience store to get bread. Of course the beast accompanies us always. The lady at the store said we was a handsome fellow - the dog, not me!

Went to a South African restaurant and had Cape Malay Curry delicious!

I went to South Africa in Hout Bay at the Cape. Enjoyed crayfish there with my family…
Sorry - couldn’t resist…:frowning:

Completely solved Britain’s power emergency.

Been sat in a dentist’s chair for hour and a half having root surgery.

Really, really unpleasant time.

Well the day started a bit odd as my husband went to the GP and was signed off for two months with an option to make it permanent so we have spent the day trying to work out how we can manage with that situation. Took the dogs for a walk where we discovered the new dog in our development is a rather nasty piece of work who can clear the child gate they had put in their doorway and attack our dogs even though they are on a lead. To be honest I’m just hoping we make it to bedtime with no more problems.

It has been a day! We had the hairdresser for my wife and a lady a few doors down. She brings her little dog She and Max get along especially their size difference. Then we went to see Ozzie’s mum now she has come back from hospital. My wife took a pasta salad for dinner. Then we strolled dogs. Ozzie seemed rather pleased to welcome his old pal home. Then I got a new garden tool, an augur to dig some new shrubs.
