Iā€™m away to see Mrs Harris goes to Paris later today.
Make the most of today as tomorrowā€™s weather looks cringeworthy :umbrella: X

I have just been round putting the clocks forward an hour - stupid Daylight saving starts tomorrow.

If there was a reason to move to Queensland this would be it!

Just come back from a model railway exhibition, always a good opportunity to play with my camera lenses. ā€œMrs Grahamā€ went shopping and come away with yet more christmas decorations to add to the massive collection we have already. May have to buy a bigger house to put them all in.

I put my heavy Curtains up today , and went a walk , it was so mild out .

Had an enjoyable shift in my hospitality job, cycled home, watched an Episode of Crown Court on DVD (series one) and slaughtered a couple of glasses of Merlot :+1:

Exciting Besoekerā€¦Probably the best qualifying session of the seasonā€¦

I agree!.
Havenā€™t seen you much recently - all fine on the home front?

Yes thanks Besoeker, just coming up to our 50th wedding anniversary on the 7th October. Going to Scarborough for a few days. Iā€™ve been helping a friend strip down and rebuild his engine, itā€™s not going wellā€¦Itā€™s been a while since I saw the inside of an engineā€¦ :017:
Iā€™m still doing some small projects in the workshop, setting up a camera outside plus inventing a couple of novelty circuits. I hope you and Mrs Besoeker are well. I look in to the forum every day and follow your daily pursuitsā€¦

Hi

Watched the transformation of my ward bay from COVID to normal.

Patients moved to a new COVID Ward, an education in itself with all the precautions along the route and the staff involved.

Then the dismantling of the COVID tents, the covers of which are cut up and double bagged ready for incineration.
The frames are then cleaned and folded up very cleverly onto their 8 wheels together with their big air pumps and filters and then taken away by the specialist team, a very slick and well practiced operationā€¦

The entire bay was then deep cleaned and put back one bed at a time, which was complicated by all the drips and monitors and the oxygen and then the arrival of the new patients.

It really was an impressive operation, the NHS frontline at its best.

There is definitely a spike in admissions with COVID, how big is not yet known but it is already affecting bed spaces and capacity.

The Ward Manager and two sisters in charge of the ward shifts are off sick with COVID as well as other staff.

I spoke with the Samaritans, again!
