Just got back from the Cinema, I went to see Fall, I went with me, myself and I and I thoroughly enoyed my ME time with my costa coffee and feet up in the reclining seats at the cinema.
I enjoyed the film but it was very far fetched.
I’m glad I went, I did something for me, a little self care!
PK this video ay enlighten you. this is the one I have
it wil now cost around £700, but when I bought mineback in Nov 2016 the price was £464
Yes expensive bit of kit until you consider getting someone in would be around£100+ depending on the property. I clean mine at least 2 usually 3 times a year (due to 4large oak trees in the back garden)
so having it for 6 years x 3 times use each year would have cost me £1800
so not that expensive in real terms for me
Thank you so much! I wonder if these can be hired rather than bought…its quite expensive for the amount of times she will be using it I’ll run it by her and see what she says
may cost more to hire than get someone in,I don’t know. What I am careful of is not knocking off the gutter end caps so i never do the extreme ends
Mine they had just upped the wattage power from the old model and as i had to wait the gave me a couple of extra poles that are about or were £80 each
I actually pulled out from the neighbors gutter grass clumps 2 years ago bigger than in the video. Not easy using 4 poles but managed to win the fight, my neighbour was in shock
True…especially in these times. I’ll give her the info anyway - so long as she doesn’t expect me to go up any ladders if it’s too far out of her budget
Ladders are a no no after where we used to live a neighours ladder slipped and his hand went straight through a window pane severing most of his wrist. I happened to witness it and the long and short of it I got him to the hospital and was told 5 minutes later and he would have died. bit more to the story but not worth writing about really. the full version I did on the old forum if i remember correctly
Today we did the usual stroll. Max was his well behaved pooch. We let him roam for a bit and the sniffing dogs like. Then my sister got the train back home. She lives in London but her next move will probable up here in Yorkshire. She doesn’t walk very well so she may need an assisting living house. We could possibly live with us temporarily, we have the space, but I wouldn’t want to be permanent. I love her dearly but is so opinionated about everything…
Went to the Birmingham Indoor Market, there was a vendor selling Lobster Tails for £2, so I gave him the money and he said, ‘once upon a time there was a lobster….
There was an injured Falcon in my garden yesterday being terrorised by Bobbi the big GSD. I managed to pick it up using a thick towel and took it indoors. After an hour of resting quietly on the sofa I opened both doors and off it went up into my willow tree and from there flying off over the common.
I just finished my online class for the day. I was out in the garden earlier and now I’m going to have something to eat then go for a walk in the sunshine
It’s the blackberry scenario all over again, Chilliboot! They are slow to ripen, although a few are juicy, so I’m delicately arranging the branches so that the underlying ones get out of the shade a bit, and into the sunshine - Honestly, it’s like a work of art!
I wouldn’t get too hung up about it, it’s meant to be a pleasure enjoying nature rather than a headache and conforming to other people’s recipes.
I’m thinking ice cream. With the very limited amount of elderberries I’m likely to pick, a kind of sweet berry topping might work … only time will tell.
Oh i did that!! I picked a ripened bunch, blended them (washing them first obviously), then put them on some plain greek yoghurt with a dash of honey. It was very yum actually - unusual because I haven’t had elderberry before. This is why I’m making the extra effort for my berry babies
