What have you done today?

That would be lovely @SilverTabby

Gotta warn you that the last time @OldGreyFox and I toyed with the idea of meeting up for a coffee in Llandudno, the world went into covid lockdown for two years shortly afterward. Heaven only knows what planetary jinx or galaxy armageddon might occur if 3 of us planned to meet up!!!

Finally - made a Bacon and cheese quiche, and two Lemon Drizzle cakes.
I now have a 'fridge full of egg whites and bald lemons!

OOooh - could mean a Lemon Meringe Pie in the offing.

For the first time in months, I am having a quiet day.
My time was taken up with caring for my sick cat who has now died. Looking after my other 2 cats who seem to want me to spend all my time with them & caring for my sister after having a cataract removed.
She has gone home today, but will be back for another 2 weeks, early next week. Apparently, you shouldn’t bend or lift anything for a couple of weeks after the op, but I didn’t trust her to follow the rules so invited her to stay here!
She was taken home about 2 hours ago so I am going to put my feet up & sit with my sleepy cats.
In fact, I may have a nap too!

Have looked about the town to get two documents notarised .
Lloyds bank no longer does this service .
Ditto the police station .
Doctors they might not see you while you are I’ll they might (for a price )certify a document .
So I have made an appointment with a public notary ,it’s going to be an expensive afternoon .

We did that a few months ago. A friend, Ozzie’s mum, recommended her and she was much less than a solicitor. Also she came to our house to did the documentation. All very civilised

Ive made a batch of Fruit Scones

Poor you! We had rain this morning but it was just stopping when we walked the dog. This afternoon my wife, my sister, and a neighbour went to see Ozzie’s mum. She is still in hospital but could go back home if there were carers available.

For me, it’s an emergency appointment with the dentist, had a filling drop out and had a temporary one glued in. Just as I’m going away on a cruise.

Stratford or Shepherd Bush?

I cut a big bush outside our lounge right back with loppers, ready to dig
out completely !
Very surprised at how hard it has become to close the loppers !!
Having a beer now :+1::grin::+1:

Shebu, that’s my neck of the woods, erm, more or less. And it’s the one they call Westfield London. I thought about going to the Regent St store but they had a real nice pair in Shebu.
