Tea Tree oil? Stings like buggery - I used to use a Tea Tree hair conditioner and if any ran down to, shall we say, a man’s private area, the pain could drop you down on to your knees.
The mind boggles
It’s not the only thing that boggles, let me tell you.
Went to RHS Worsley (took a few piccies on my phone, so don’t expect miracles). Glorious weather.
Then bought a cheapo air fryer from B&M and also had quick trip to Trafford Centre.
Used air fryer to cook some chicken thighs and cobbled up a mixture to make some chicken and leek pasties. I seem to have issues with pastry, but will persevere
Toddling here there and everywhere and achieving very little.
And I can’t find the what’s annoyed me today thread …
which is annoying in itself.
But I nearly tripped up today … over a flippin charger cable for an electric car running across the pavement into a terraced house across from where the car was parked in the road.
They’re fat things.
Heaven help us when everyone has one … they’ll be rows and rows of snakes to jump over and miss.
Morning all
The day has just begun ,weather warm and overcast much how I like it.
I’ve been out with dog.
Off to the market later with my sister hope to buy some cyclamen such cheery little plants, however I do view them with a kind sadness as they heralds the start of short days long nights.
I have bought them in the past but they never come up the next year , must be doing something wrong
Had a lovely long lie in. Love it when I can think ooooooo no work today then roll over
Made a batch of soup for the freezer.
Made 4 x jars of pickled mushrooms ready for C*******s
Prepared vegs for tonight’s dinner
Stocktake on the 'fridge yielded 3 x bald lemons - might make a lemon meringue pie later.
re adjusted to latches on the wooden back gate ,now shuts and bolts easily
What!!! Never heard of such a thing…why would you do this and what do you eat with them?
Because they are delicious!
Cold meat and salad mostly - but I have been known to add them to a cheese sandwich or two.
Hmmm…ok…
Been sitting out in the garden, reading. No music or neighbours shouting, which is a bonus, though Holly did her share of barking at other dogs, people going down the alley, or whatever. But managed to start the library book.
Maybe in another hour we will do her third walk of the day.
Oh, before that, went into town, to the library, to the bank to get my weekly budget out, and a few other shops,
I have done very little and it’s a technique I am perfecting.
It’s true what they say … everyone has a talent for something.
We we took the 9.34 train (delayed) to London Bridge this morning.
I’ll always take a trip on The Thames rather than use the buses or underground, it’s always a bit special to get around that way if possible.
Anyway, I’m not big on having favourites but as far as museums go The British Museum is tops!
We bought a few postcards, had a drink in a pub off Great Russell Street, back on the Thames Clipper to London Bridge and home
Sounds like a good day out Chilli…
I enjoyed the science museum last time I was down there, but it was a bit of a walk.
I’ve been trying out a new exercise regime…I was trying to run a mile every day (couldn’t run it all, but as much as I could) but I realised I wasn’t warming up, so I’ve increased the distance to two miles and walk the first mile and jog back.
Later on in the day I walked the mile to Tesco and took the scenic route home…It was really warm.
Watched a recording of yesterday’s F1…Hamilton was robbed…Again.
Well done to George though. Those Mercedes seem to be getting it together.
