Been on a 'bus - well two actually - to the otherside of town to deliver a card - and back again - an hours journey each way.
Tucked in to bacon, egg, mushrooms and saute potatoes for luncheon.
Pretended to do some housework.
Ironed clothes for tomorrow - going shopping with a friend.
All of which were delaying tactics - am now feeling up to sorting out the mess I made last night - totally wrecked the necklace I was making by working while tired and using the wrong pliers!
Perhaps if I make another cup of tea - then sneak up on it gradually!!??

Couple of online lessons, followed by a bit of decanting of remnants of emulation paint from original tins into empty ādreamiesā cat treat plastic cartons, so we can get rid of a bit more stuff on our weekly trip to the tip tomorrow (on our way to have a nosey round the market in Nantwich).
Are you on a big day out or are you close to Nantwich? If so I had no idea you were that close to where I live!
We live in South Manchester (Chorlton) and fancied a drive out for a change. Never been to Nantwich, so thought weād have a look around tomorrow.
It is a nice old town, but I havenāt been there for a few years so I can no longer suggest somewhere nice for lunch. There are a few pubs though and they used to do nice lunches.
Thanks. Am sure weāll find somewhere for a nibble and a cuppa.

Rainy today so it was a shorter walk than usual. Then my wife and the grand kids went to the mall. Three hours they were gone. Not really my cuppa tea. Max and I stayed home.
We have our daughterās elderly black lab staying as she and her daughter have gone down to Looe for a couple of days. Iāve been sewing a school cardigan for my granddaughter from sweatshirt fabric. My overlocker isnāt keen on the thickness of the fabric though. Iām trying to work out what adjustments I need to make.
made 2 large Chicken Pies ,
Well that was a pleasant couple of hours. Had a light lunch in the Talbot (opposite B&M), which was nice partly because everyone seemed to know everyone else and partly because the road outside was closed for repairs so there was no traffic. Think weāll go back again for another mill around in the future.
Iāll be over on the next 'bus! Love chicken pies.
Glad you enjoyed it!
