What have you done today?

Leapt out of bed - full of enthusiasm and good intentions - fortunately it was not a severe attack and soon wore off.

Heading for tea, toast and a rummage through my cookery books - I feel a lovely relaxing batch cooking episode coming on!

Had a coffee. Walked the dogs on the common and down through the woods. Returned home, had a tea, then woke up.

11 Mile bike ride in a howling gale (well it was a bit blustery) returned home to find Mrs Fox had broken the toilet, it won’t stop flushing
Spose that will be today’s job.

Another daily walk completed

After painting the decking yesterday it’ll be a day of nothing today.

Good morning all :grinning: overcast and a cool 10°C here.

Yesterday I emptied and split up a large basket of plants given to me for my birthday from my daughter last March and repotted them. I now have pots of an azalea, a rose, peace lily and two evergreen houseplants. Hopefully they will grow well in the next few months.:grinning:

Enjoy your day folks

You all sound a lot more energetic than me! I stayed in bed reading until about 9.30. Got up and prepped all the veggies for lunch. Doing roast chicken, stuffing etc for 5 today. Walked over the shop for a few extra potatoes. that is it so far.

The weather here is fabulous today! It’s currently 18 degrees Celsius with a low of 7 degrees Celsius tonight.

I’m happy to report that my riveting life in Africa continues

Steam cleaned my bathrooms. Then proceeded to steam clean my kitchen sink, bin, stovetop and oven. All nice and clean now!

Formula 1 is on the Agenda for the afternoon and Sunday is over.

Do you miss Reading, Berks?

Overslept this morning so everything is running late today for us.

What makes you say that Dachs?

By the way, I’m so jealous of you right now! Elton John! What a legend!

This afternoon it was a coolish wind even though the sun was out so we decided to clear out the understairs cupboard. Unwanted shoes, handbags, scarves and gloves now in car boot heading for charity shop. Portable gas heater going to the dump tomorrow (never used it in this house and we’ve been here 30 years). Other rubbish in the bin. A good afternoon’s work. :+1:

Watched F1 and not a lot else.

Fitted a new tyre to the bike and nipped the inner tube, so had to start all over again.

School Boy error Foxy.

I know Spitty
It’s been a while since I changed one, I don’t think the tyre lever helped because I couldn’t get the tyre on

:bike:

You should have put a few PSI into the innertube then nipping becomes difficult.

I was at my daughters for lunch
I looked after my little grandson on Saturday night as they went to see Alan Partridge at Leeds arena
they said it was good anyway my son in law is such a good cook so he cooked for us all on Sunday
it was delicious
