What have you done today?

Last year I attended the 101st birthday party of a grand old lady.
Today I attended her funeral. God bless…
It was at Bridlington, and a good hour and half’s drive from home.
It rained a lot.

But mental health is important too.

Grafted too much, not enough me time.

Well I must agree with you there Smithy. Mrs Fox gave me a selection of jigsaws for Christmas 2020 and I haven’t got round to doing them yet. Perhaps when I get old…

First thing we went to the grocery store. I walk with the two trollies, my wife walks with the dog. I wait outside. The Missus needed some things mainly for the jubilee party. A bit later we took both dogs. Sadly our neighbour had a fall but not badly. We worry about her and she has good neighbours but she is own her own otherwise.

Get the cellophane off now Foxy, just incase.

A jog around the common earlier this morning. Now suffering from rising damp.

Sure sign of Old Age EZ, when the Damp rises but the Sap doesn’t.

Took my daughter’s dog for a walk in the wilds of Canberra and got lost. Thank you god for giving us Google maps.

Eleven mile fast bike ride first thing.
A haircut later if the charming Kerry can fit me in.
Fit two new tyres to the bike.
And then install my new piece of kit on to the drill table…
It arrived yesterday…Just Wow!..
Crosslide

Gave my details to a police officer this morning. :grinning:

Ooo Mags what have you been up to?

Worked, came home, did housework, made and ate dinner, watched A Quiet Place 2…and all before wine o’clock! :+1:

Not been a good day. Our neighbour had another fall this morning. The ambulance crew were in attendance. We took the dogs but we kept out of the way of the medical guys. Eventually the dear lady was taken to hospital. She called us from there. Her legs are just not working. We’ll see what transpires tomorrow.

Had an interesting chat with a Ukrainian girl at the cashpoint. She asked me to help her withdraw some cash as she wasn’t confident about reading the instructions. I did so. She says she is going back to Kiev with her Mum and daughter and I asked why. She said because she rents a flat and the landlady says she has to either pay the rent or get out. So not much sympathy over there for their fellow countrymen. The flat has all her worldly goods in it so she must go back. She has been here since mid April working part time in a cafe and getting Universal Credit. She has no plans to return to the UK.

Did a bit of painting and then a horrible big shop that cost loads of money in the pm .
I hate food shopping with a passion only surpassed by cooking
