What have you done today?

I should think so, it is considered very bad form to flaunt one’s boils. :018:

Took Mrs Fox and a neighbour out to a garden centre for lunch. The builders have almost finished the garden wall and gateposts, and I was able to run some very useful distances while out on my three mile walk. Persistence seems to be paying off…Mrs Fox says I’m nothing if not persistent!

So, a threesome, then. :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi

More planting out and clearing the garden.

This morning I did my weekly shopping. It went very well, and I even managed not to stare at the strange people one always finds in Tesco, or any supermarket, for that matter. Refraining from staring at odd people is something I’ve been working on for a while, and while I do seem to be making progress, it hasn’t done anything to stop people staring at me.

I went out on my bike for an hour and a half this afternoon, and found the experience far more comfortable than I expected. The last time I went out, I was troubled by a boil on my seating area, which I feared would cause me problems again, but, to my relief, I was okay. Fingers crossed; I think it might have gone into remission. :crossed_fingers:

Get well soon.

Went to hospital for hubby’s last hydrotherapy treatment. No idea how they claim they are so understaffed. There were 3 patients in the water. 4 nurses chatting and people watching by the windows. Two physios poolside. 60 mile round trip for 30 minutes in the water x 4 sessions. Just a tick box exercise really. He has finished now and is not even the tiniest bit better than he was. In fact the day after he always feels worse.

So far - managed to slither out of bed and make a pot of tea !

Just been talking to my bank after my account was hacked last night. Finally sorted.

I leapt out of bed, ran into the kitchen, and then fell down. :face_with_head_bandage:

After a break of about ten years (I’ll have to check my journal) but my bike has been recovered from the loft and made sort of road worthy for my first test ride. I’m sick of pedaling my heart out on the exercise bike and not getting anywhere.
So forget about that wussy electric and off road stuff…And lets see how long distance, fast, Foxy powered cycling takes off…

That’s because you leapt out of bed. It’s not a good idea at your age.

I know; it makes me fall down. :slightly_smiling_face:

I’ll give you “Wussy” Lycra Boy. :icon_wink:

Rearranged some furniture, tidied some stuff, chucked out about 100 CDs, or when it stops raining, I’ll put them out for passers-by to help themselves.

Were they Des O’Connor and Max Bygraves CD’s d00d?
Mine went ages ago together with my Rolf Harris ones…

Developed a hacking cough in the night and had to get up and make meself a cup of Lemsip. Just had another one alongside my usual espresso. God knows where the cough/cold came from, I haven’t seen anyone for the last few days.

Just fed the birds, so that’s the extent of my labours today apart from doing the washing up.

Just received a text from NHS telling me i’ve been in contact with someone who has Omicron. Test kit on the way. 99p postage. Not sure I can afford that after death duties.
