What have you done today?

Couple of online lessons, followed by a bit of decanting of remnants of emulation paint from original tins into empty “dreamies” cat treat plastic cartons, so we can get rid of a bit more stuff on our weekly trip to the tip tomorrow (on our way to have a nosey round the market in Nantwich).

Are you on a big day out or are you close to Nantwich? If so I had no idea you were that close to where I live!

We live in South Manchester (Chorlton) and fancied a drive out for a change. Never been to Nantwich, so thought we’d have a look around tomorrow.

It is a nice old town, but I haven’t been there for a few years so I can no longer suggest somewhere nice for lunch. There are a few pubs though and they used to do nice lunches.

Thanks. Am sure we’ll find somewhere for a nibble and a cuppa.

Rainy today so it was a shorter walk than usual. Then my wife and the grand kids went to the mall. Three hours they were gone. Not really my cuppa tea. Max and I stayed home.

We have our daughter’s elderly black lab staying as she and her daughter have gone down to Looe for a couple of days. I’ve been sewing a school cardigan for my granddaughter from sweatshirt fabric. My overlocker isn’t keen on the thickness of the fabric though. I’m trying to work out what adjustments I need to make.

Well that was a pleasant couple of hours. Had a light lunch in the Talbot (opposite B&M), which was nice partly because everyone seemed to know everyone else and partly because the road outside was closed for repairs so there was no traffic. Think we’ll go back again for another mill around in the future.

I’ll be over on the next 'bus! Love chicken pies.

Glad you enjoyed it! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Ordered my PC a new keyboard - this one cannot spell - most of the letters have mysteriously disappeared from the keys. Either the Housework Goblins have stolen them to make me stop messing about in here and do some tidying up - or - that Cat has licked them all off while I was not looking.

The jury is out - but my money is on the Cat!
