What have you done in the garden today?

Pricked out the rest of the calendula and sowed the tomato seeds and some Californian poppy seeds.

Nothing yet as it’s too cold out there.

Bit of ‘excitement’ yesterday though as I tripped and fell over in the garden. :grinning:. No damage done though and I was back on my feet with the help of Mr M. :slightly_smiling_face:

I was a bit stunned at first , but recovered and went into hysterical laughter
I nearly always do one spectacular fall each year , I then take more care when im out and about .

Blimey @Mags & @Eliza I’m so glad neither of you were hurt in your tumbles! :hugs:

Regarding gardening, well I haven’t done much expect tidy and weed. I have a gardening friend who is going to advise me on shady plants to put in the soil so it will give some colour. She says I really ought to wait for a year to see what grows from before, but I don’t have time for that! I need more colour than 1 motley gang of daffodils can give me! :astonished:

Bung in a load of poppy seeds get several sorts . They are colourful and easy . Candy floss is also good for foregrounds and borders . Big sunflowers at the back of sunny spots .
Time is of the essence there might not be a next year

Hi

Nothing myself, but watched one of my helpers get stuck into clearing the litter and weeds from the front garden.

It is looking much better.

Scooped the Poop

Nothing in the garden today, but put an order in for delivery on Thursday of 4 different sorts of compost, some gravel, a bag of slate chippings, potting grit, and fertiliser.

Tomato seedlings, Cosmos, Sunflowers and mixed salad leaves are all coming nicely now, too.
