Pasta, without a doubt, so versatile!
Spicy pan fried chorizo too, goes very well with the pasta
I like the thin spaghetti, got to be the quality stuff that’s a bit sticky when at the almost cooked stage. Drain & throw straight into a tomato/onion/garlic sauce. Cheese on top.
Same as Susie, roasts.
I bet you can’t guess what I cook the most?
Actually, I haven’t been cooking pasta much recently as I’ve been experimenting with whole-grains as a substitute, due to my low-sodium low-cholesterol diet. It’s amazing how many tasty dishes you can make with barley, farro, quinoa, ecc.
My son’s not too pleased, I often cook two different dishes.
Stir-fries Making a stir-fry is an easy way to prepare a balanced meal (vegetables + meat/fish)
My diet is fairly simple (as is my cooking), usually cabbage / potatoes, veggies, beans and /or rice, combination of the above. Love beef, but only eat on occasion , rice is very versatile, can be used with / in most any dish / combination.
