:-p

We drive a wonderful Rover 600, about 18 years old , has a Honda engine so plenty of power under the bonnet. She is a ā€œbeautā€.

If I admit to once owning an A.M.C. Gremlin does that keen I have to leave this site in disgrace?

Well at least it is not a Goggomobile

ā€¦err, Iā€™d like to point out that the Australians made a sports car version of the Goggomobile! A very desireable vehicle today as well!

A two litre turbo diesel Yeti 4x4v in dark sugar paint. Spacious, can move seats around, or take three out. Well built and can move rapido if wanted. Comfortable with excellent radio and climate control.

You mean ā€˜The Dartā€™

Of course! Built at a dealer in Sydney Iā€™m lead to believe.

I drive an 11 year old Vauxhall Astra which we bought 2nd hand with about 11000 miles on it. It now has 125000 miles on the clock and still drives very well. Gets used daily on the good old M25 Motorway and nips along fine.

Good to hear !

I was eavesdropping on these two fellas in the pub the other day, bragging about the size of their properties.
Bloke #1ā€¦ Iā€™ve got so many acres, it takes me a whole day walking around the fence line.
Bloke #2ā€¦My property is so big, it takes me a whole day in my car to drive around the fence line.
Bloke #1ā€¦Yes I know, I used to have a car like that.

Good un :-p

I did have a Honda CRV automatic 1999, we loved it till a lady pushed it through an 8-foot brick wall, the car was a right off and my wife and I was battered bruised but still alive.
After several weeks I got a cheap Renault Cleo 2006 for Ā£500, it needed a new battery but was good to go.
We will get a bigger car after our holiday as no room in this car for a mobility scooter, dog cage plus suitcases.

We have two, a Land Rover Defender and a Skoda Yeti 4x4. Wee cars are useless up here. I drive the Yeti most of the time.
The only things I donā€™t like about the LR are 1 itā€™s noisy. 2 itā€™s not really comfortable. The Yeti has Daytime lights and I canā€™t turn them off, that annoys me, also the dash could do with more storage space.

I drive a Renault Cleo 2006 and it drives good did a 400 round trip to Cornwall last week on one tank of petrol, but it is not roomy inside before I had a Honda CR-V 1999 but crashed and scrapped.
Will get a Honda again when I am richer.

I have a Honda CRV I love it easy to drive and loads of room .

I am seriously considering letting my Pathfinder go. My annual mileage has fallen to an all time low (less than 1.000 last year) so it makes sense to pass that to a family member and rely on just my wifeā€™s little Suzuki city style car to get us both around. Itā€™s easy to park and runs on just a sniff of fuel :+1:

I had a honda CR-V a few years back, the one with the spare wheel on the back. So underpowered it was unbelievable really struggled on hills had to drop down to first gear. Soon got rid of itā€¦ Still got the Nissan Xtrail Tekna 7 seat Diesel version. Now get around 50mpg which is excellent for the size
Sue has a Honda Civic estate which is even better on MPG and doesnā€™t have to pay road tax either
