Yes I did, especially when there wasn’t anything else to eat until we had dinner.
Didn’t put a lot on, just sprinkled on.

Had crisps sandwiches as well.

That is more like real Food @logan1…We are having sausages and mash…fried onions in tonnes…not sure what else as yet but always have a good stock of veggies…
Not making puddings for a few days now as trying to find my waist again… :grinning:

Mushrooms … we’ve got lots of them.

We are having either a Pizza Express American with added mushrooms, or tuna/mushroom/pasta.

Beef brisket tonight with a beef broth. Done in the slow cooker for several hours.

Went to Morrisons for White Peppercorns and Miso, only found ground white pepper, but they where just starting their Black Friday deals.

The meat was so cheap and the reduced counters were fantastic, either 75 or 90% reductions, so had two chicken breasts for 75p with garlic sausage which was 17p.

Veggie burgers (sans bun) for us today with a samosa and a side salad. :drooling_face:

A home made ham and egg pie - for breakfast.

Jewish Chicken Penicilian and Mash.

For lunch we’ve just polished off smoked haddock with poached eggs followed by Bakewell tart and ice cream, with toasted fruit loaf coming up for teatime later.

Lamb Casserole from the spare meat off the Lamb Leg I roasted yesterday…It was extremely tasty if anybody wants to try it…

Onion, Carrots and Gravy as well as the juice from the TinTomatoes
pre cook the Carrots…and pre cook the Potatoes that go on the top for approx the last 1 hour of cooking…the other ingredients can be cooked for up to 1 hour before adding the sliced Potatoes.
I added frozen Peas before layering the Pots…
Make sure you have plenty of liquid in the dish. I cover with foil until the sliced potatoes got in …
