Tatties are potatoes.
Whelks, cockles and winkles are small salt water shell creatures which you have to pick from their shells with a pin or similar. Not my kind of thing at all, but they are very popular over here.

today we are having turkey breast joint, mash, roasts, brussels peas and carrots.
not decided on a pudding yet still got loads of things in the freezer from christmas.
Made some more soup today, added chorizo sausage, I had no idea it could be so versitile.
After cooking a full english breakfast for everyone, I won’t be cooking the evening meal as we have been invited out. I love surprises.

Turkey breast, roast veg and the last of the runner beans we grew last year. Was a big breast so some is going into a stir fry tomorrow.
Roast Pork ,roasters ,mash ,cabbage ,carrots and swede ,stuffing and gravy .Rhubarb crumble and custard to follow .
It will be fish, baked potato and salad this evening.
Had the rest of the turkey breast, in black bean sauce with rice.
Got some salad for tonight, but I don’t know what to have with it yet.

Now that’s a good idea UJ…one of hubby’s favourites and he’s got our grandaughter into it too…her mum buys her strawberry chewing gum

I only checked Saturday’s lottery ticket tonight when I got home from work and I won a tenner, so I sent for Indian food. It’s free delivery with £10’s worth or over, so I got a King Prawn Chat, Onion Bhagi (you get two when you order one), Prawn Madras and Mushroom Rice.
Lots left over for the freezer again.
