What are you having for lunch/dinner? (Part 1)

Hello!!! Bison?? What is this? Visent or what? This makes me really curious.

Anna darlin’ - Bison: a North American Buffalo, sometimes referred to as ‘big Shaggies’. It makes a delicious change from normal ‘beef’.

Spaghetti and Italian meat balls, salad, ciabatta roll

Chicken breast, new potatoes, sprouts and carrots…

chicken breast, stir fried with peppers, mushroom, corn and noodles in a lovely chilli sauce. Bananas a cream.

Chicken, mashed spuds and mixed veggies with gravy.

Have you ever tried making a nice cheese sauce to put with your mixed veggies.

Toad in the hole, mixed veggies and tater wedges.

Crab salad, sweet corn, fried potatoes, toast and jam with my cup of tea (cake all gone! :frowning: )

Was that to me, Cate?

You know, I hadn’t thought about a cheese sauce to go with a meal like that, and I’ll certainly keep it in mind for next time.

Don’t know what I’m having for tea yet.

That was indeed an idea for you Mollie. We are having baked potatoes with cheese and Utterly Butterly

Yes, it will make a change.

I had left-over Indian food which I bought a couple of weeks back on my birthday, and which I froze.

We had Chips, egg, Bacon grill,& beans. Very tasty even if it wasnt very healthy

I wish I’d known. You could have set an extra place at the table for me.

Oh what a shame. we’ve got some Bacon Grill left well. Oops my w. key has just fell off

Pur’it on a butty later. The bacon grill I mean, not the W letter!

Will do
The letter W is now back on - after a lot of fiddling:-)

We are having mince and potato pie with veg and wedges. Can I be bold and ask what people are having for Christmas Dinner/lunch I am cooking a shoulder of pork, a duck and some ham with the usual trimmings.

That odd stir-fry I make, has no name

crisp bacon, beans, onions, celery, mushrooms, green pepper over rice

Friday, Fish(Haddock) Chips and Mushy peas

Snap bought the mushy peas from Aldi 22p a tin.
