What are you having for lunch/dinner? (Part 1)

Macaroni cheese today.

From the remains of yesterday’s roast beef, have today made a huge pot of stew and suet dumplings. In addition to the beef, parsnips, carrots, swede, celeriac, lentils, and onions, I have also added some choriso and black pudding.

Grace fancied fish fingers she’s not the best vegetarian I’ve ever met :mrgreen: so she had fish fingers peas and chips and I had the beans and peas with a fried egg. Steven fancied the macaroni cheese left from yesterday with chips.

Special treat today - Cozze Rigatoni with homemade crusty bread to mop up the juices - yummy!

Penne pasta with a grating of parmesan (cheaper version pandano or similar name).

Plain yogurt for pudding.

Smoked applewood Baked chicken with wild & long grain rice and broccoli

Tonight Spring Rolls with Salad.

Chicken Curry and Rice.

Smoked Haddock, Jacket Potato, Peas.

Lunch…I had some grapes (green seedless ones) with two easy peeler oranges.

Dinner…homemade soup (celery/ redpepper/ carrot/ veg stock/ swede/.black peppercorn grounded and rock salt for taste.) Its delicious Ive had a quick taste

This cold snap deserves beef stew and dumplings so that’s what its going to be :slight_smile:

‘Burns night’ - so Haggis, neeps and tatties !!!

Lunch - two toasted cheese scones.

Dinner - will wait until I see the menu in the restaurant.

Just made some curried Butternut Squash and Sweet Potato soup with garlic, ginger, turmeric, onions, curry powder and a little cayenne pepper. Warming and heartening.

For dinner I’m putting a small lamb joint in the oven to have with plenty of fresh veg.

Me too, U J with a wee dram to wash it down.

Whisky I find is a bit harsh on my palate darlin’, so I use Brandy instead !!! :wink:
