What are you having for lunch/dinner? (Part 1)

Hi

Soup I cannot chew at the moment.

I have lost 6 kilos.

Now think.

Where did you last see them? (this is my mum talking!)

Are you having the Salad UJ? lol

Oatmeal with blueberries from my garden, a few walnut pieces, milk and some brown sugar, and an orange from my tree, 1 cup of yoghurt, 2 cups of tea.

Yummers! Bacon and eggs?

Edit, oops I forgot it would be dinner there!

Yes Dinner Bobby not breakfast! and it was yummy.

I’m going to make some fresh cut oven chips to go with turkey steaks in breadcrumbs. Monday evening comfort food.

Oh, that sounds comforting and nice!

Just crisping up in the oven as I type.

I had chicken salad then a yoghurt… boring

Yes, but very healthy!

Well I entered the kitchen with all good intentions, started the base sauce for a madras curry, went to the fridge to get the chicken, to find it was in the freezer

So a phone call to the Chinese takeaway was order of the day

Very nice it was as well and tbh, after the day at work I had, was a welcome treat

Most certainly not Susie darlin’, salad is rabbit food - ergh yuk. Had scotch egg for starters, it was made fresh on the premises, and was delicious!!! Had chicken curry for main meal, tjat too was very tasty.

What was for desserts UJ?

Today we are having Fresh Salmon and Salad.

Scoth egg and currymwere both very filling and there was no room for a dessert.

I just got some prawns out of the freezer, I’m only catering for myself today so I might do sweet chilli prawns with cous cous

That sounds good!
How do you do it?

Will shortly be making a chicken curry for my dinner this evening, with rice and a mini naan bread.

Well I cheat ruthio, I use ready cooked jumbo prawns and cook them in Tesco Sweet Chilli Dipping Sauce and a handful of chopped spring onions… jobs a good un!

Excellent!
Thats tomorrow sorted
