A hurried supper of scotch pie, potato and carrot.
Appointment I was supposed to attend today has been cancelled, so am ‘at a loose end’, which will give me the time to spend in the kitchen and cook a cottage pie or a toad-in-the-hole!!!
Making soup and bread and cheese on toast using yesterday’s bread. Must be something there we can all enjoy. Nathan’s day off today he’s working Sunday this week, my husbands van has broken down so he’s on his way home now too. So should all be here for lunch today.
Lunch was cheese on toast, to use up the bread. Tonight will be homemade chicken curry.
Leftover beef stew for me.
Had Chicken & Mushroom curry with rice today.
Just had:
Smoked Haddock, boiled potatoes and cauliflower cheese.

I’ve decided from now on, we are going to eat more Fish then meat, although tomorrow will be a Roast.
Mushroom and brocolli risotto with shaved pretend Parmesan on top.
Tinned pears with chocolate custard for pudding an old school favourite of my husbands.
Chicken Breast, R. Potatoes, B. Onion, Cabbage & Swede.
A full roast dinner with turkey, sos meat and stuffing, and the usual veg/roasties. Making sure I have a lovely Christmas dinner before I go to the hotel next week!

Chicken casserole with dumplings, winter warmer.
Home made tomato soup, and chips.
Tinned peach slices with whipped evaporated milk for pud.
Mashed potato, Caledonian chicken breasts with pepper sauce and broccoli, washed down with a glass of chilled white wine. No dessert though - can’t remember the last time we two had pudding - perhaps my stomach is shrinking?

Another turkey dinner for me!
Man from Sainsburys has delivered my ‘goodies’, so will have a fry up today - burger, sausages, bacon, black pudding, mushrooms and baked beans. Gonna be windy here later this afternoon/evening. 
Just enjoying cheese on toast.
