What are you having for lunch/dinner? (Part 1)

:mrgreen:yes I am watching!

How amazing Uncle Joe, I went to Greggs for lunch yesterday for the first time in months, we were visiting MIL and she likes a Greggs pasty and cream puffs. I bought my husand a caramel doughnut with vanilla cream and he was very impressed. It was about three by the time we got there so I would guess they had sold out of the other varieties you mention.

Roast chicken, sage and onion stuffing, baby new potatoes, sprouts, carrots and broccoli …

I will roast chicken but I shall also roast onions, parsnips, carrots and taters with it.

Roast chicken here too with roast taters, parsnips and onions, steamed leeks, carrots and swede.

I also made a cherry sponge pudding and custard. Absolutely delicious!!!

No chicken here: trout, cauliflower, fried potatoes, roll.

Roast beef, yorkie, mashed potatoes, beans, carrots, gravy and it was scrumptious.

a quick ready meal from the freezer when we got back from the hospital visiting my mum, i am hoping to do better tomorrow, we have hardly eaten much over the weekend.

Errrrmmm - Kazz darlin’ - MASHED potato with roast beef etc??? - what happened to the roast tatties???

Oops had roasties too.

Thats better Kazz darlin’ !!!

Bought a Buffalo (Bison) steak at the weekend - but forgot to take out of the freezer last night - so will have a ‘make do’ meal today - burger, sausages, bacon, eggs and chips and will have my buffalo steak tomorrow or Wednesday.

No cook fancy Monday: bacon, scrambled eggs, buttery toast, last of the chocolate mousse cake.

Home-made chicken broth tonight for me.

Cottage pie with cheesy top, green beans, carrots and broccoli…

Home-made beef casserole/soup…the /soup because OH is not so keen on some of the veg so he whizzes his

going to grab something quick from Tesco tonight on the way back form visiting mum, the kids and OH will have to raid the freezer:mrgreen:

We are having spaggetti bolognese and callum is having chicken and spaggetti with his kibble …I have a freezer full of things but i have to make something that can be reheated in the week as sometimes my husband is late home…

Pasta with pesto, salad, ciabatta roll. Toast with jam for dessert; finished the cake.

Made lentil, carrot and tater soup it has lasted three days and tonight we shall finish it with a cheesy ham pannini.

Hello Cate, you know that’s just up my street…please let me have the recipe…as i have the ingredients!! The soup of course, not the pannini:)
