What are you having for lunch/dinner? (Part 1)

Hi

I am on a serious diet following all those steroids Uncle Joe is talking about.

I am having steamed veg, no potatoes, and gravy every day this week for lunch.

Evening meals are baked fish with veg, no oil, bread, pasta or potatoes at all.

Boring, but necessary.

What’s a diet??? - don’t do none of that!!!

Baked potato with cheesy baked beans

A cup cake for pudding although I might scrape some of the decoration off or I’ll be in a diabetic coma by tea time, who knew a small cake needed so much topping ? Think I prefer fairy cakes but they got a refusal when I suggested making them.

Packet of crisps and a cheese and pickle sandwich.

One chicken & Ham pie, one beef & Stout pie!!! - delicious!!!

Did you order any of the meat & potato ones UJ?

No all different meat ones!!!

Ah, ok.
I may order some of the meat & potato ones - they look tempting.

Went to Morrison’s and had a chicken pie, chips and peas. Very unlike me to have a pie at all though, let alone chips.

Oooh I love Morrisons pies.

Had gammon, egg and a jacket with a couple of lagers and carrot cake for afters, lovely…

Crispy roast duck legs tonight.

I got the ‘munchies’ last evening. Having eaten two of those gorgeous pies at lunch-time and grazed throughout the rest of the afternoon, at ‘tea’ yesterday made myself an ‘egg McMuffin’ - two burgers (in each bun), plus a fried egg to top it all with slices of onion too - it was fabulous!!!

Just had boiled eggs and soldiers for breakfast so probably a couple of biscuits with cheese for lunch just something light.

:shock::shock: That would last me all of 10 minutes Julie darlin’ - doing full ‘Sunday roast’ for lunch today again.

Id explode if I ate as much as you Uj  don’t know where you put it all. My old nan would say you have hollow legs

To cope with my latest medical problem, doctors are feeding me Prednisilone - a steroid - it makes me permanently hungry - even though I had a good appetite without them, I’m now eating myself out of house and home.

Oddly I take them for various long periods and never get that hunger.

Each one of us is different Julie darlin’ and medications react differently on each of us too.

If it’s Sunday, and it is, then it will be a full roast dinner today with as many crispy potatoes as it’s possible to get on my plate. Proper potatoes too, none of these frozen things. Mind you, Aunt Bessies Yorkies are so quick and EZ.
