Julie, how is your shoulder? Was it your injury preventing ‘getting into the tin’? Hope you’re healing ok.
Had a healthy lunch today of:
Plain Cod, boiled potatoes, Brocolli, Carrots and Parsley sauce.
Fishcakes chips and peas and bread and butter later …
Hi
Nothing, I have a tummy bug.
Half the village does apparently.
 oooerrr Swim …hope you feel better soon:)
Do you have any idea what caused it?
Hi
Good for the diet.
Always look on the bright side.
Not a good way to lose a few pounds though Swim …not to be recommended:shock:
Hi
It is a virus Aysa, the local kids started with it during half term and now the oldies have got it.
As I was off out to Ikea and Tesco today, I took a flask of coffee, and a ‘packed lunch’ of a few grapes, a marmite cheddar bite and one slice of buttered seedy bread. (No hotdog, chips and fizzy drink for me!)
For supper, chicken drumsticks cooked in red wine sauce, free veg and new potatoes. Banana and cream for pud.
Aha
One of my FB friends has something like that … started on Thursday
I shall have to check that you two have not ‘interacted’
The internet can be DANGEROUS !
A further thought or two for we people who venture out shopping, using public transport, shaking hands, handling coins/notes etc. … we ought to start wearing gloves (like the ROYALS) and use those bacterial washes when we return to our safe environment.
That ought to eliminate some of the contageous viruses.
A whole new fashion trend will resurface … GLOVES …
Get knitting, those of you who enjoy it.
Christmas is nigh  …
Found a tin of broccoli and Stilton soup in back of the cupboard only a year or so out of date opened it up smells and looks and tastes ok so that’s my lunch today might have a slice of vienetta for pudding on special offer 50p in the coop because it got a bit squashed.
chopped up the remains of the lamb from Sunday’s roast, peeled and chopped: potatoes, parsnips, carrots, swede, leeks, onion. Made gravy from the meat juices, added lentils, and curry powder and made a few suet dumplings too. The smell emanating from my kitchen as I type this is wonderful!!!
Shall be having a tomato and cheese pasta bake
Salmon salad today (boring).
Im cooking a shepherds pie ,its in the oven right now …smells delicious too…I also made enough to make two smaller ones for the freezer . Will make some thick gravy to go with it
Duck spring rolls and veg spring rolls.
Followed by a cornetto.
I’m in a spring roll mood.
We had Chinese Chicken and Prawns with Rice with a can of lager.
Hi
With this coder weather Tpin I was imagining you having Cornetto casserole.
