What are you having for lunch/dinner? (Part 1)

That seriously strong cheddar spread is rather lovely isn’t it, I like it on crackers.

I had a small piece of fish with chips and garden peas

Today I am making Sausage and Vegetable Stew.

Yet more of my beef stew, although will have to make some more suet dumplings to go in it.

It’s an M&S Dine in for a tenner special
Sea bass fillets pan fried with olive butter, minted new potatoes, creme brulee and a bottle of Kir Royale
Add roasted cherry tomatoes on the vine and I think that’s not a bad deal - simples too

Putting some pasta on today adding chicken and smoked sausage to meat eaters and mushrooms and tomato to mine, making enough for the weekend as we are going away so I can just take a big Tupperware box of dinners.

Some more of my chicken casserole, potato, cabbage, broc and dumpling. And butterscotch angel delight.

It’s Friday!
I can feel fish’n’chips coming on

Attending a demonstration in support of the junior doctors this morning, so may have to have lunch ‘on the run’ somewhere today.

Haggis, neeps and tatties. I’m all for clear food labelling but the ingredients listing pig lung 32% beef fat 25% isn’t the most enticing ever! However, I’m all for eating all of the animal protein once the creature has been grown and despatched, and discarding or wasting as little as possible, so I’d better clear my plate, eh?

Just had hamburger and chips in a nice little cafe in town…

Sounds good to me darlin’ - on a bed of sweet potato, swede, parsnip & celeriac mash with a large knob of butter!!!

Just had Chicken Curry and Pasta.

Home made cauli cheese tonight…

Sunday roast - roast lamb today.

Today we are having Shepherd’s Pie, Jacket potato and Mixed Peppers.

Tonight Crumpets.

Shepherds pie with cheesy topping and peas and gravy

Todays its a Roast with Chicken Breasts marinated in spices, R. Potatoes, Baked Onions, Cabbage and Swede, gravy.

With the remains of yesterday’s lamb joint, will make a lamb curry later this morning.
