What are you having for lunch/dinner? (Part 1)

I had cheese and onion crisp sandwich for lunch…chicken pumpkin for dinner

We are having a reprise of Sunday’s glorious rib of beef. So, it will be the beef with roasties, carrots and Swiss chard. I might make Yorkshires too … we’ll see. We’re out to lunch tomorrow so I think I ought to stir my stumps and do the YPs - they are lovely!

Lasagna, Jacket Potato and mixed Peppers.

Beef stew with loads of potatoes,parsnips, carrots, swede, celeriac, onions and suet dumplings. If I fill the cauldron right up, there should be enough for the next three days.

Tomato soup and crispy rolls for lunch, one of my favourites.
Lemon chicken with chips and green beans for dinner.

It was ham eggs and chips with grilled tomato, and it was eaten out, so doubly lovely - no shopping, cooking or clearing up :slight_smile:

Soft white roll with ham and pickle in for dinner this evening

Steak ,Egg and Chips

Had a fish n chip lunch ,bread,butter,tea, in the local chippy…fab’…Just be having some roasted cheese sandwiches later.

We’re having red peppers stuffed with spicy rice and the last knockings of Sunday’s beef

Mushroom soup, cheesecake

Yes darlin’ - same as yesterday - beef stew from my cauldron. I also added some slices of black pudding to enrich the gravy!!!

Garlic Prawns with chips and salad.

Had Lasagne …and vienese whirls for after

Lamb rump, spinach, carrots, saute potatoes. Cheeseboard

Today we had Chicken Breasts marinated in Tandoori Spices with Roast Potatoes, Fried Cabbage with onions and Carrots.

Tonight: Soup and Bread.

Tonight I am having salmon fishcakes filled with hollandaise sauce, with some chargrilled asparagus and steamed broccoli. I may even have a glass of white wine with it!:smiley:

Im out later for a Carvery meal with my sons cant wait ,ive not eaten since 10 this morning :slight_smile:
