What are you having for lunch/dinner? (Part 1)

No problem Malcolm I usually say what we are having either it’s the veggie equivalent eg tomorrow we are having spaghetti bolognaise but it’s made with quoin mince or if we are having real meat I list meat eater is having so and so and I am having something else I guess it could get confusing.

Hope you feel better soon…x

I am a vegetarian so fish would not be on the menu but also not feeling too well so it would be a struggle yo eat chips today.
Which one are you - veggie or not? I appreciate that you might not be feeling too well, but you have contradicted yourself

Julie, why are these men so concerned about whether you are a vegetarian or not? Do you have a bunch of secret admirers all wanting to take you out for dinner.:surprised:

Today we are having:-

Thai Chicken Curry and pasta shells.

Will be visiting my local pie shop later this morning for a couple of ‘steak’ pies!!!

\

My husband says can he come and join you, cos I’m doing a vegetarian cauliflower and chick pea curry.

Home made chicken/leek soup for lunch, chicken curry & brown rice for dinner…No arguing in the Food/drink section puleeze or Ye’ll be put on a starvation diet

I stated I am a vegetarian what in that makes you think I might not be ?

I don’t know it’s very odd I deffo have never said I eat meat and even when I say clearly I though I am a vegetarian I am asked which it is veggie or not, all very odd and in a fairly light hearted thread where we say what we are having for lunch! I do sometimes wonder if it’s me ? Am I not typing in English or something ?

Anyway it’s spaghetti Bol today using quorn mince fruit and ice cream for those who can eat fruit and just icecream for me.

He’ll have to be very quick darlin’ because my local pie shop is so good they tend to sell out by about 13.30 - 14.00. Bought a couple of ‘steak’ pies for my lunch, plus a couple of cherry and custard pies for ‘pudding’.

UJ why do you need two pies for lunch surely one would suffice?

One is not enough to assuage my appetite and I have a large appetite!!!

well enjoy both pies UJ lol  you will be stuffed after…

You are as bad as my nephew Nathan UJ, only difference is he will go for a 10 mile run so he runs his off.

:shock::shock: In which case no point in eating and savouring them :-D:-D:-D

Lol speed he eats I am not sure much savouring goes on !

:-D:-D:-D Same here Julie darlin’, same here!!!

sticky pork ribs and roasted Med. veg - perhaps some rice if the veg doesn’t look enough. James Martin’s recipe, where you poach the ribs first - makes them deliciously tender without getting dried out.
Not my favourite, ribs, but Mr DM likes them and he’s taking me out to lunch tomorrow, so I’d better be nice to him

Had cheesy beans on toast for lunch, then tonight will have a scotch pie, with boiled potato, carrots, peas and a little bit of gravy.

MMM cheesy beans Jazzi…youre giving me ideas now …thanks I was just sitting here wondering what Id like to have…cheesy beans on toast sounds like a winning menu to me lol …so its sorted!!!
