What are you having for lunch/dinner? (Part 1)

Cheiken Pot Pie here! It is a frizzen day!!! brrrrrrr!

You think I’d go into a WeightWatchers meeting carrying a burger, pizza, kebab?

No local caffs near enough, and generally so overcrowded, not pleasant eating places.

Cheese & tomato toastie for tea.

Oat cakes … in bed … NOW !!!

Too crumby for me.

Today it will be:

Cod in Batter, Large Jacket Potato with cheese and Peas.

Morning Lila, we are the only one’s up at the moment I think.

No susie darlin’ - you’re not. Just wasn’t on forum as I was fixing my breakfast - 2 slices of ham, 2 eggs, a pile of mushrooms, a few hash browns and a tin of beans, all washed down with a large mug of coffee.

Mince again today ( last of the tray) will do it with chips and peas I think.

Yogurt for pudding

Carrot soup; cranberry muffin

Chips again.

Most probably with bacon and beans. Best do a Morrisons shop tomorrow.

Tea will be cheese salad, a kiwi fruit and an apple

:041: Its Friday - now have quandary - do I have fish 'n chips for lunch, or since I have to go to ‘vampire’ clinic this morning, swing past the pie shop and get myself a couple of pies for lunch??? - decisions, decisions!!!

UJ, how bad is your Diabetes? Do you inject Insulin or take tablets or diet only?

Are you Type 2?

My Diabetes is really bad, I am Type 1 and have to do 3 Insulin Injections and take 4 tablets a day.

Today we are having:

Chicken breasts wrapped in bacon, Roast Potatoes, Parsnips, Stuffing, Fine Beans, Carrots and Gravy.

Beginning to wonder whether I’m diabetic at all. Surgery did a ‘glucose’ test and the result of that said I was diabetic, but that was several years ago, I haven’t been tested in the past 15 months, have eaten sweets, chocolates, biscuits and cake plus have had Brandy, Grand Marnier, port and Gewurztraminer wines. My Doctor prescribed Metformin for me and I have continued to take that, but I have no idea what my blood sugar level is or should be.

Cauliflower cheese today

Banana and custard for Gracie’s pud and yogurt for me.

lamb rump, herby potatoes, spinach
only do puds on Sunday

Too cold to walk from the ‘vampire’ clinic to the pie shop this morning, so fish 'n chips for lunch today.

You should really get yourself checked out UJ for your own benefit, your sugar levels might be very high and you don’t even know about it. You should ask you GP for a Fasting Blood Test for Diabetes.
