What are you having for lunch/dinner? (Part 1)

I shall probably have a Tesco’s fish cake (2 for £1.50) and some microwaved mixed veg (Tesco’s frozen veg).

Its cold its wet its nasty … but thats outside.
Im making a steak and onion suet pudding and later some poached pears and cream for afters…

Poached pears sound yummy … chuck some in my direction please :smiley:

Pork steaks with apple, carrot & turnip mash, boiled new potatoes and lashings of thick brown gravy…

ive just had homemade chunky chips with corned beef and ham and eggs :slight_smile: it was delish if I say so myself

Today we are having:-

Hunters BQ Chicken with Roast Potatoes, Baked Onion, Parsnips, Dark Greens and Carrots.

I made a big cauldron of Rabbit stew and suet dumplings yesterday - so will have more of that this afternoon.

This is why I prefer not to shop online … you don’t get bargains.

Oh and I also bought baking potatoes reduced from the disgusting price of £1.25 to 13 pence.

Great bargain prices Rachel…Ive often found some good ones at Tescos and Morrisons too for pennies…

Im having a slow cooker casserole for tea with dumplings potatoes and yorkshire puds mmm cant wait :slight_smile:

The ham (bacon) is slow cook in cider and I like curly kale cabbage…

Roast pork, sausage meat/stuffing, roasties, proper apple sauce, yorkie, gravy, peas and carrots.

Had Hunters chicken with cheese and bbq sauce and bacon with chips …

Half dozen (YES six!!!) Cumberland sausages, mash and beans today. I have some Venison or Rabbit in my freezer and I could make stew and dumplings again (I Love Stew!!!) for tomorrow.

Today we have a lovely big piece of fresh cod from the fishmongers with new potatoes and broccoli.

Yes Susie darlin’ - I did 'cos they were all stuck together in my freezer and I couldn’t separate them before they were defrosted.
