What are you having for lunch/dinner? (Part 1)

Fish, chips’n’mushy peas followed by one large triangle of dark Toblerone and a glass of fizzy flavoured water.

had one of my quick cook dinners, packet of egg fried rice, cooks in 2 minutes, can of tuna and half a can of sweetcorn laid on top with lashings of sweet chilli sauce, tasty!

Just had Piri Piri Chicken Breasts, Potatoes, Brussels & Swede.

Weight Watchers chicken, broccoli, pasta bake followed by a banoffee yogurt

Today we are having Chicken Curry and Noodles.

Tonight Bacon Sarnie.

Roast beef with all the trimmings for lunch today (not really lunch as we only eat about 6ish)

Well today I am having my lunch cooked by DD & Son I L.
I believe we are having roast chicken, with all nice vegetables and of course roast garlic , plus a cheeky little Sauvigan Blanc to wash it down.
Sounds yummy to me.

Should have added a couple of smiles.

Just had a small jacket potato with baked beans for lunch. For dinner, it’s
roast chicken with stuffing, broad beans and some type of potato - haven’t decided yet, and a bottle of wine from the wine cellar (cupboard under the stairs)

Enjoy the wine - I’m on the wagon as it goes straight to my feet :blush:

Been out shopping for a good few hours and don’t have time to cook my planned roastie. But did stock up with meals so tonight may be a breaded cod fillet, parmentier potatoes and peas.

Had beans on toast and tea in a cafe.

Bus journey home was a nightmare! The world and his wife was in Tottenham. For some reason…:confused:

After a three hour round trip to take the doglets to “school” plus another three hours working with them and their trainer, I didn’t fancy cooking an evening meal, so dashed into Auchan on the way back home and bought myself a frozen smoked salmon, prawn and cheese pizza which I popped into the oven and with help of said doglets have now eaten … was thoroughly enjoyed by us all!

Tonight I made a ‘one pot’ dish of potatoes, onions, peppers, and chorizo cooked in a pan.
I cubed the potatoes and cooked them a bit in oil, then I added 2 onions, then a large red pepper, a good dash of smoked paprika, cooked all that for a little while, added about two thirds of a chorizo sausage with some dry sherry and cooked it for a bit longer, then I added a pack of cherry tomatoes and let them cook for a little while and that was it, tasted great with a glass of chianti.

Today we are having Meat Pie, Mash & Beans.

Lunch was a tomato sandwich. Dinner will be home made bolognaise.

A tomato sandwich? I have some home made soup for later and a low fat yogurt for afters…This is one of my ‘light’ days…

Ready meal for lunch at work and it’s steak, chips, carrots and peas followed by a yogurt about 7.30

Just had our dinner of: Homemade Lasagna using Pork Mince, curry rice and courgettes.

I know I’m not a beef eater, but I bought some braising steak this week and it looks lovely, so we are having that today, have just put it in the oven as it takes 3 hrs. to cook.

I’ve made egg mayo sandwiches for lunch. Then it’ll be carbonara for dinner.
