What are you having for lunch/dinner? (Part 1)

I’m about to start my Indian Chicken Curry and Pasta.

Just tucking into a Morrisons toad in the hole, and their Parmentier potatoes.

Going out to do the cat interferes with my meal times. Started eating dinner last night around 8. Very late for me. So cooked dinner now, sandwich later.

Am just about to venture into town, bills to pay or would not bother as it is that ‘fine rain’ at the moment (prefer a short and sweet downpour to this stuff). Anyway there are a number of choices for food ranging from a caff that deals only in baguettes with chunky fillings which are delish. To the market caff which does a selection of dinners, with roast and boiled spuds, and five, yup five portions of veg along with the normal accompaniments to whatever meat you chose, ie chicken, pork, beef, liver and lamb. and all for around a fiver. Sometimes indulge if son is working til 8 and therefore not home until 8.30.

just back from a few days at nice hotel - the menu was always tempting: and one night I had beef cheeks. Delicious.

Tonight we are having belly pork done in the halogen so fat goes all crispy, with creamed pots, and assorted veggies.

Salmon Salad today.

Had a pork kebab and salad, but now I’m craving something sweet.

I bought 4 thick strips of belly pork marinated in Chinese spices, so I am going to try that today with Roast Potatoes, carrots & sweetcorn.

Today we had Fried Egg, Frankerfurters, Mushrooms & Chips.

Tonight Hot Crumpets.

Beer…:-d

Gammon, R. Potatoes, Parsnips, Swede & Runnerbeans.

Tonight Cheese on Toast

Going to have marinated Pork Chops with vegetables for lunch today.

Tonight maybe Crumpets.

Had a pizza lunchtime, and tonight will fry a couple of pork loin steaks, adding a sachet of mushroom sauce, and with probably have rice with it.

We just had Sausages and Mash.

Toast and marmalade lunchtime, and shortly will have spag bol (the remainder of pot taken out of freezer the other day.)

Sweet & sour chicken and fried rice…

Just had Salmon Salad

Last night we had a boef bourgenoin (spelling?), with baked pots broccoli and carotts, tonight we too are having fish, grilled trout, chips, petit pois. Probably just fruit for dessert.

Tonight, a chicken breast with some of Sainsbury’s basic pasta with sweet corn.

My favourite at the moment is smoked salmon flakes with a little Sainsbury’s Basic Pasta and a crusty roll on the side.

Had two of my grandchildren to dinner today and made their favourite meal, Tuna & Pasta Bake. Garlic Bread to go with it and the result was two happy kids.
