I know what you mean Mark.
Consumed another of your favourites last night - a large bag of sweet and salty popcorn - well 3/4 of it. It was great to have them mixed together in one bag. Will save the last quarter for this evening. ![]()
Lunchtime its Lentil and Bacon soup with a slice of bread.
Tonight its Bangers, Mash, Peas and Onion Gravy.
May have to forego food today (a disaster!!!) as I had dental surgery yesterday and the gums are very tender and still bleeding (slightly). Obviously can’t eat anything hard or sharp (so fish 'n chips are out) and so too is toast. Even a fry-up may be too much for my gums too

Fajitas
Ah never mind UJ you can always have scrambled eggs or soup.

mmmm Meg, your Menu sounds very tasty, I think i’ll just nip over to yours.
We have just had, Egg, Cheese, Onion, Mushroom Omerlette with Fried cubed potatoes with fresh chillies thrown in and bakebeans. The chillies were really hot, my tongue is still on fire.
Today we have a choice, earlier in the week did a small shop at Tesco, and bought some cubed beef, and from the reduced section a 500 gm pkt of sausage meat. So earlier today I minced the beef and made some into a bolognaise sauce, the rest into a beef carrot and petit pois gravy to be used either as mince’ntatties, or topped with mash & cheese as a cottage pie, but the 50p sausage meat is the sort of show stopper. I finely chopped some chorizo and mixed it into the sausage meat, along with a generous tbs. of a spicy grill mix I use on steaks, then made the mix into meat balls, fried them gently in some garlic oil along with a chopped onion, then added chopped toms, generous sprinkle of smoked paprika and left to simmer. So three dinners for a little under £3. Not bad huh? When my son gets home from work will let him decide which we have (my money is on the Spag. Bol. Although he may go for the spicy meT balls)
Today we are having Piri Piri Chicken and vegs.
Roast pork & apple sauce for us today
