We had Egg Omerlette, cubed oven potatoes & beans.
I’m not sure if it’ll be tasty or not! ![]()
Cheese omelette sandwich for lunch. Now cooking is a lamb shank in mint gravy, with mashed potato, peas and carrots.
Just had a curry this evening made from yesterday’s leftover chicken.
Had a Kangaroo casserole earlier this afternoon - it was soooooooo tender and delicious!!!
Oh YUK Uncle Joe, I didn’t even have that when we lived in Australia!
Agree UJ I love kangaroo too.
For tonight we’re having scotch fillet steak & vegetables with lemon meringue pie for dessert.
Decision, decisions today - do I have ‘Bangers & Mash’ or Pork chop??? - the jury’s out on this one for the moment.
Stella darlin’ - Kangaroo steaks (along with many other ‘safari meats’) are very healthy as there is very little or no fat on them - just solid flesh, therefore there is no waste!!! In addition, they are very healthy for you and they taste very nice if cooked slowly and not cremated!!!
Only just arrived back from the hospital and had no breakfast so having breakfast for lunch, two boiled eggs with toast.
Supper will be salad blitzed in the nutribullet to make a lettuce and mint smoothie
For a change, I had my big meal at lunch. A roast pork with all the trimmings. Lovely.
All washed up, now this evening something like toast (to take my tablets).
Missed out on a roast Sunday, because of the carboot and never got round to it in the days after.
We had lovely Steak & Kidney Pudding, with potatoes and vegetables. UJ favourite rib sticker.
fajitas for dinner
Jatz biscuits and dip for a very light lunch and going out for a pub dinner tonight…I have a nice chicken/noodle/veggies stir fry in mind…
Its alright Susie darlin’ - having mine today!!!
We will be having vegetable soup and roll lunchtime and tonight Roast Gammon & vegs.
Susie darlin’ - if you haven’t already done so, stud the joint with cloves, spread wholegrain mustard on it and drizzle runny honey over it too - Honey roast Ham is delicious!!!
Depends very much on your tastes though, if I did that with a ham no one here would eat it mustard and cloves would put one family member off and honey the others, so sometimes cooking things plainly is best. Actually simple foods are often better IMO
Hi,
I cooked the Gammon the day before, I did put a little bit of French Mustard on it, but not the cloves or the Honey, as being a bad Diabetic, I could not eat the Honey, that would raise my sugar levels badly.
Susie xxxx
Today it will be Bangers and Mash.
