What are you having for lunch/dinner? (Part 1)

It was an aubergine and pasta bake, very nice it was too LOL

I have got a Gammon Joint in the oven at the moment, so it will be a Roast dinner today of Gammon, Potatoes, Runner beans and Swede.

Stuffed marrow today, using quorn mince and tomatoes.

Mmmmmmmmm - studded with cloves and smothered with honey and wholegrain mustard - fabulous!!!

just makes me hungry reading your posts…i’m trying to go vegetarian some days…i like it i love a grilled hallumi salad with beetroot and coleslaw…

For lunch, corned beef sandwiches with tomato sauce, and tomato flavour crisps. For supper, slightly burnt fish cakes (doing something on the computer at the same time), home made chips and mushy peas. For afters, strawberry jelly, blancmange and evaporated milk. Mmmmm

Last night I made home-made beef stroganoff using onions, mushrooms and green capsicum, and treated with hot paprika, salt and pepper, a little cayenne pepper and a yoghurt topping, with turmeric flavoured rice.

I’d never made it before so it was one of me experiments which went right! Deeeelish! :lol:

It’s Saturday!!! - yippee!!! - this means I can venture down the hill to the pie shop and get my Pork & Apple pasty.

The wife and I shall be entertaining tonight (I.E. having family and friends round) so the biggest chicken from Lidl has just gone in the oven and a heavily alcoholic trifle was made earlier this afternoon and is in the refrigerator now.

Should be tasty!

I just had Tandoori Chicken for a few ringgit at a Bangla restaurant.
