Had a whole round of Cumberland sausage, mash potatoes, mixed veg and gravy at lunchtime - this was at the hospital restaurant!!!

‘Cos yer knows me too well Hazel darlin’
too true!!!
Just had Chicken Curry and Rice.
Just had cabbage, marrow and a new potato or two.
Meat eater has chicken with his portion. If he is eating today, juicing has gone really well for him so he may still be doing that.
Lunchtime today we had Sausages, Mash, beans, fried onions and gravy, it was really tasty.
Made some bean burgers for me and a beetroot salad, sausages for meat eater. Niece and great Niece were here too and joined me with the bean burgers.
We are just having a Chicken Salad today.
Broccoli, mushrooms, quorn mince, tinned tomatoes, will do something with that lot.
Bought a big turkey leg in Morrisons. I’m going to bone the thigh, stuff with a herb stuffing and roast for dinner. We’re coming down with veges at the minute so I’ll probably cook some fresh green beans and new potatoes (Duke of York).
Alternatively, since it’s very warm here today, I may make green bean, cauliflower and potato salads.
All sounds very nice to me Grumblewagon.
Dining out tonight - a belated wedding anniversary meal and I intend to have a big juicy steak.
smoked sausage salad at lunch and a plate of fruit for tea.
If the heavy rain showers we’ve had this morning let up for a while I can ‘pop’ down the road to the pie shop and get myself a Pork and Apple pasty for my lunch.
You’ll end up popping in more ways than one (and don’t you mean 2)
it’s a lovely day here.
Cooked chicken earlier on for meat eater, just need to add some veggies to it tonight, having veggies with vegetarian sausages myself.
Lunch will be a little bit of cheese and rest of beetroot I cooked yesterday.
Hazel darlin’ - yes I did manage to get to the pie shop but by the time I got there (10.20am) they only had one left (They’re VERY, VERY popular!!!)
I’m going to make a spicy stuffed pepper a little later on with a home-made Madras sauce.
Sounds very nice Mollie.
Stella I hope your Steak went down well with a nice glass of Wine.
We had Fish Fingers, Mash & beans.
