Evening meal tonight we had Chicken Kiev & Vegs.
Yoghurt cools the mouth, when eating hot curry too.
We had a roast today…was going to be chicken or beef but we ended up buying a piece of pork
Roasted pots, parsnips, carrots and sweet potatoes, with green beans and peas.
Delicious and I ate too much
I forgot to eat, and forgot to feed the dog will rectify dog immediately, won’t do me any harm. Am now going to have a very large whisky :-D:-D
Its a roast dinner today, Chicken. Might be naughty and have a Doner Kebab tonight on the way home from my M.I.L’s.
The leftovers from yesterdays roast. I had cooked far too much veg and it was tasty heated up today. We had Eton Mess to follow
Beef Casarole with Dumplings here for dinner today, warming & tastey,
I love dumplings Anji
but they don’t like me
Mmm… I love Eton Mess - naughty but very nice! ![]()
After a traditional ‘Xmas lunch’ of roast turkey, Jean and I had a helping of Xmas Pudding with Brandy sauce!!!
Tonights dinner is a bit boring, we are having Lambs Liver, potatoes, peas, mushrooms and fried onions.
left over chilli from last night and a slice of bread and butter
Hi Susie, that sounds lovely to me !!i had a boreing dinner, chicken salad, highlight was Pickled onion !!!
had pork chop with red & yellow peppers, mushrooms, onions and tomatoes fried ib the juices and I know fryings not good for you but once in a while won’t kill me.:-D:-D
SUSIE!!! Salad in the middle of winter isn’t good for you - you need something warming inside you to keep out the cold and help your body fight off infection.
Tonight we are having Chicken Breasts cooked in Lemon and Herbs with roast potatoes, brussels, carrots and gravy. Followed by Bread & Butter Pudding.
Much better Susie darlin’ - salad is not good in winter (in fact as far as I’m concerned - salad is ‘rabbit food’!!!) - I’d rather have the rabbit itself and make a rabbit stew!!!.
Uncle Joe, I think you have mis-read the posts on here, it was not me who had the Chicken Salad, it was Anji0007, I had Liver that night. I don’t really like salads!!!
Sorry Susie darlin’ - senior moment again. Am having Coq au vin in a couple of hours with mushrooms, onion, parsnips, carrots, potato and Celeriac. Made a mincemeat fruit loaf over the weekend, so can cut a slice of that, placed in a dish with custard poured over the top for ‘pudding’.
nothing for me today - this is a non-eating day (as per 5-2 eating plan). Chicken stew tomorrow
We had a Corgie that ate normally 6 days a week and fasted on the 7th, not something we made him do he chose not to eat.He was a big bodied dog too not a skinny little thing.
why 5-2 plan ??
