I am grateful to have made it this far in life.
Had a hiccup in the early nineties which almost saw my demise.
Survived a 100 kph single vehicle crash 7 years ago.
I know many of my peers who are no longer here.
Like you Im grateful to the Surgeon and his team for giving me a few more years to live .
Also most grateful to my FIL for the Bungalow I live in , he worked hard ,many hours of overtime which were mainly through the night . It means I can live a comfortable life.
Theres lots of things Im grateful for , to many to list .
I do make a point of paying it on in small ways when I can to help others .
Life can be rather difficult to negotiate and to make it to our age is a wonderous achievement.

Iām grateful for three things because they were beyond my control but turned out alright. In other words, if Murphyās law had always proved itself right, I wouldnāt be here today or Iād be a completely different person. Iām grateful for all the luck Iāve had up to the present day. That includes not having been born earlier, i.e. before the war.
Iām also tremendously grateful for the opportunity of finally living in a free society for the best part of my life. Those who have always lived in it tend to take things for granted.
All that wouldnāt have been possible, if one man in the 1950s hadnāt made the crucial decision to follow the western model of society rather than the Russian one. Iāll always hold him in high esteem. The bashing of politicians is not always justified,
