I am rather keen on my microwave which is where I finally mastered omelette making.
My washing machine without a doubt
I’m with you on that Abbey - I wouldn’t want to be without my washing machine. My dishwasher is a close second (I hate washing up, my late husband used to do it - he would even take dishes out of the dishwasher, before it was turned on, and wash them up).
Washing Machine, living on a farm dirt and mud is never far away. I’d be in utter dispair without it.
My pacemaker.
I remember decades ago when police raids were carried out whilst looking for pornography. These would be reported in the media saying, several boxes of pornographic magazines were removed along with a number of appliances. I wonder if the previous owners had a hard time without them.
Personally, the kettle but my mother would have said the washing machine.Previously she would have spent most of Monday battling with a wash boiler and a mangle.
I can’t pick one … I’d be lost without so many of them.
My granny wouldn’t believe what we have now.
Washing machine
Washing machine followed by my Air fryer as i have just mastered cooking eggs mmmmm.
My latest triumph was successfully cooking onions in the air fryer - for ages I either burnt them or they were undercooked but I think I have cracked it.
I’m with @Furryanimal and I think the microwave is my most used appliance, even just for making coffee.
Much as I like my new washing machine I could hand wash clothes each day in the laundry tub so it is not essential. I don’t have a dishwasher and, as much as I like my airfryer, I have a BBQ just outside the back door that does the same job.
I agree with the OP and say microwave. It used to be my rice cooker which I’d like to get back to.
All of them, though having put that I haven’t had a working oven or grill for months now. Very good excuse not to cook. I do have a microwave, a hob & a toaster that work to use.
The washing machine and dryer. I wash Aunt Mavis’ drawers.
Yep, it’s the washing machine for me too…
Can I choose 2? Washing machine and dishwasher, although thinking about it I think most of us would be lost without an oven!
I haven’t used my oven for decades, I don’t even know if it works, I keep my never opened cookbooks in it. I do use the hot plates on top though.
My microwave is also a convection oven and grill though I have never used the grill part I only use the convection oven facility to bake cakes in (packet cakes if I am honest)
Mrs Fox…
She washes, irons, hoovers, sweeps the drive, watches the telly all day and drinks red wine…couldn’t do without her…
