Vote of no confidence in Boris Johnson - Tory rebels wait for Boris Johnson to ‘blow himself up’

Did you miss this bit of my post:

Of course not … it’s in the Guardian, too … but why should I repeat it?

By hook or by crook, Alex Johnson will get his come-uppance one day - as my family know, he has been a smarmy liar, saying whatever he thinks will advance his ambitions since his School and Uni Days, but you can’t keep pulling the wool over people’s eyes forever - maybe when he eventually gets kicked out of the PM office, he will go back to telling lies for the press, which is what he did best.

Dream on

Boris’ support is growing not the other way around. Brady is an arch remainer and has been trying to overturn the 2016 referendum since we voted to leave.

The deceit of the remainer fifth column is obvious. If they want to be in the EU they should fck off there

Ooh I say! Bread, that is no way to speak about the honourable members of HM’s government.

I wouldn’t rely on the media PK.

Well, it’s all we have to go on really. Isn’t that where you get your info from as well?

Mr Johnson has an approval rating of 24 percent - correct as of June 2 - according to YouGov.

Compared with last month, the PM’s score has dropped by two percentage points.

The number of participants who thought he was doing “badly” in the role grew from 68 to 69 percent.

Good news :exclamation:

A separate poll by Conservative Home has found that Mr Johnson now has the worst approval score of anyone in his Cabinet.

Its research was published on May 30 and identified that the PM’s rating stands at minus 15.

But the score was not the lowest Mr Johnson has ever posted with the site. Five months ago he recorded a ranking of minus 34.

:+1:

No not really, I listen to a lot of the morning rounds of interviews on the radio, LBC, Talk Radio etc. If you look at Johnsons support in the 5th round of his leadership election I think he has more support now than he did back then.

Starmer can’t beat Johnson in an election. He knows that - the only thing he can do if he is to get into power to reverse Brexit (which is what he wants to do) is to work with the tory 5th column of remainers, the MSM and his labour chums (including the unions) to try and oust him.

Baker, Davis and the likes need to wind their necks in and support the Prime Minister or it will be them who will be blamed for the civil war in the Conservative party and not the MSM, or the opposition.

The people and the party are two completely different things.

It’s not unusual for a Prime Minister to have a low approval rating by the mid term.

By this time under Blair we had an illegal war and by this time under Brown we had a run on the banks.

I think we are doing fine in comparison, considering the pandemic which took up 2 years of Boris Johnsons premiership - where, incidentally, we were the first country to approve a “vaccine” and the first country in Europe to come out of lockdown.

Most of Johnsons problems can be solved over night.

Reject socialism, embrace conservatism

I do admire your loyalty, and think you would be a good person to have on side if ever it came to it, but I really don’t understand how you can have such fervant support for a person who literally couldn’t give a chit about you, and would see you and yours out on the streets, or dying in hospital before thinking he should maybe perhaps do something about it before everyone turns against him.

I’m no lover of Boris Johnson PK.

However, I am loyal to conservatism and if we are going to move forward as a country, we need to this never ending bollcks about cake and parties (including Starmer and Rayner).

I lost my mum in the pandemic. I waited over a year to see her (she lives 240 miles away) and she died the night before I got there. Partygate is a raw nerve with me, believe me, but if we are to allow the MSM, the unions and the police to eject an elected Prime Minister then we are in serious trouble as a country. Although I’m so, so angry about how Number 10 behaved I’m not prepared to wilfully allow a socialist party into government to destroy our country again.

Time to bury the hatchet and move on … we knew what Boris was like before we elected him. He knows how we feel now he needs to sort the mess out in our country.

I remember you posting about your mum, and I am really sorry you lost her before getting to see her. I’m so heart sorry for everyone who lost loved ones during this god-awful time.

See this is the bit I’m struggling to make peace with…nobody elected him, we as the people didn’t elect him. He became the PM through the way our politics work. And if an active PM is found to be a liar, a rule breaker, and have criminal charges raised against him, I think the country (which he is supposed to serve) should be able to oust him.

He didn’t at all - he was elected by the people as an MP in Uxbridge then as Prime Minister in the 2019 General Election.

We vote for party not person here, although you wouldn’t think it looking at what’s going on in the media, the unions etc.

Thanks for the kind words about my mum by the way

Yes, we vote for the party, and given that my political knowledge has only become more concentrated during the last couple of years, I agree that it can be confusing to read the various opposing opinions in the media. Saying that though, the entire conservative party doesn’t really seem to like us that much, do they!

Not all of them, but you get that in all parties. You can’t please everyone, but I know what you mean.

Next week, the rumour is Boris will come up with his tax plan. Let’s hope that this time he does something that will really make a difference to people who are struggling with the cost of living crisis.

See, here we go … Labour trying to shaft the Brexit vote again

The paper is generally critical of the BBC, which it says is biased to the left.
