Not sure if you’ve tried it, but I’ve read a lot of people have had success with the carnivore diet with UC…

Thank you kindly. It may or may not work according to the article. At the current state of play it is tolerable. Inconvenient but tolerable. If it gets significantly worse I will try the carnivore diet.

You know your own body, Besoeker. Do what works for you…you don’t want to be messing around with new diets if there’s no need :hugs:

But, I wonder what people who are newly diagnosed are advised to do. :thinking: I can’t imagine a doctor saying “oh just eat meat, you’ll be alright”

I agree. My dear wife is a brilliant cook. We eat well. The dog, on the other hand, gets the same bland food daily. He has a kidney problem. He hangs in there and we love him dearly.
