No,Honeychile. I’m back from the surgery with my wrist YET AGAIN in plaster-but this time,hopefully,for the last time. That little block they eased out had split! So this time I have a titanium one,which the tiny screws went into FIRST TIME,with no ‘almosts’ or ‘2nd tries’. The surgeon and I got yakking,azzyer do-annit turns out he’ was born on St Kilda…and he actually knew my mum’s family!!! [mum was born on St Kilda]
Small world,eh? I found that rather a ‘karma’ sort of moment.
Someone who knew my mum’s family,on St Kilda AND knew my family on the Shetland Isles …and we meet 600 miles away in a totally different environ,PURELY by chance. [but it still REALLY aches,atm…]
