Tonight's Corrie

ha ha, no not Deidre, just for a change, but its not somebody you’d expect…do you want to know :-D:-D

Took me a while to work out who Rawzee was  Am so pleased she’s leaving, she really gets on my nerves.

Ok I’ll spill the beans, hope you don’t mind… its Sunita!! Of course it may not be true but I read it somewhere  But I did notice a spark between them the other day, and of course she’s fed up with Dev at the moment, who wouldn’t be!!

The “adoptedbrat” is the girl who killed Owen’s fish.

Oh aye, little Fay. Agreed about her. Another little sod on the street.

Sunita? Well, who could blame her. I mean honestly, who would want Dev as a husband? Terrible character and terrible actor as well.

Would anybody else like to see Karen back as I suggested? It would make for some very intriguing viewing. Steve only seems to go for feisty women, doesn’t he?

Hmm I don’t like Dev at all.

Yes I’d like to see Karen back, she’d certainly give Tracy a run for her money, and sparks would fly

Indeed it would. Sadly, I don’t think it’s on the cards for her to come back though as she’s forged a new career in other things, but Corrie needs another brassy piece now that Becky’s gone, as a foil for Tracyluv, and another new love interest for Steve, but methinks that will be a little time in the future.

Corrie could do with another Stan and Hilda, or Jack and Vera because the younger ones seem to be taking the main parts these days and Dreary and Ken don’t quite fill that criteria.

Have you noticed that, on Corrie, nobody has missed Betty and her hotpots yet? This has to be addressed at some point. :frowning:

Yes you’re right she’ll never go back. I wonder if Becky’s sister will take over the “brassy piece” roll?

I think the Corrie bosses are trying to attract a younger audience, hence the young one’s having all the story lines at the moment. I like Roy’s mother! She’s grown on me but don’t think she’ll be there for long.

I was thinking about Betty the other day and couldn’t remember if they’d had her funeral or not as nobody had mentioned her for ages but think I read somewhere that it will happen at Easter.

No, Kylie isn’t strong enough to be the brassy piece, and she’s too young, but her character could grow.

I like Sylvia in that role and her sharp tongue hasn’t quite replaced that of Dreary’s mother, but she’s a good second. I’d like to see her in Corrie for a bit longer, and hope she doesn’t take off for Palm Springs with Milton Stilton! Well, he’s very cheesy isn’t he?

I’ve never liked Robert Vaughn even when he was younger, and he’s just an old fart in Corrie now and is of no useful purpose.

If Corrie is trying to attract a younger audience, then they’ll be making a big mistake. So far they’re balancing it reasonably well, but too much youth will put older and more established viewers off from watching.

They need Crusty and Bel in there to liven things up!

I also cant stand Nicks ridiculous rubber face thats permanantly flabbergasted & horrified… and the pub daughter that works for him and fancied herself moving in with him… Think thats it lol I like the rest!! Oh apart from Julies weird healthy lunchbox freak boyfriend!!!

Hahaha. You’re cracking me up, Cassie.

Yeh, Nick always looks to me as if he needs a bluddy good wash. He always looks smelly to me!:lol:

Don’t you think that Julie and her bloke sort of suit each other though?

Yes I like Julie lol Her and her odd bloke are definately suited. Oh yes Marias brat… has she sold it?

Maria’s kid - little Liam. Do you mean Kylie’s kid whom she sold once before to Becky and Steve?

yes Liam… Haven’t seen him in ages thought she’d sold him for beer money! Funny nobody ever struggles to afford a babysitter or even to find one available! Maybe ive just not noticed time pass and he’s already had his 18th & left the Street lol

Yes, that aggravates me as well. You see the mums out and about but no sign of a babysitter, so what do they do with their sprogs?

Mayhap there’ll be an episode where all the babbies will be found in corners with cobwebs on them!

kevin & Mollies baby is another that’ll be starting college next time we see it lol

Behave yerself missus! :lol::lol:

Well you certainly got him right Mollie, he was telling big fat fibs last night. I had no idea he was supposed to be eight, he acts more like a five year old, not because of his lying but because he is so damn childish.

Isn’t Simon a brilliant little actor to make you feel like that about him, though  He’s probably a lovely child in real life!

Simon is 8 years old in Corrie and Alex Bain, who plays the part, will be 11 later this year.

Sorry folks cant stand Simon one iota.

Oh my goodness I had no idea he was coming up for 11. I actually don’t mind him and I know he’s playing up at the moment and telling lies, but hey, his life has been turned upside down and he’s lost his mum (yes I know she’s not his real mum) and he must feel very confused as to what’s going on:-D:-D

Peter should have handled it differently, maybe gradually introduced Carla into his life, he’s not the best of Dad’s is he? He has let Simon get away with rudeness and answering back for months. The writers have made Simon into an obnoxious little so and so and that is what I dislike to see.
