Tired or Knackered

Sometimes it is important to know how you feel, if you are very busy, it is hard to work out if you are tired or knackered , if you are busy, which one are you?

When you’re knackered you’re too tired to care

I am not sure why, but this makes me think of Blazing Saddles & Madeline Kahns song.

zzz

Hard work? gave that up when I retired. So nice to be able to do things when I want and not some ignorant boss who doesn’t have a clue demanding everything to be done the day before. The last one soon found out he had pushed me too far. Lucky for him he ran

Neither Tired or Knacked but fearful for tomorrow
anyone else feels fear right now

After doing the bulk of my Christmas Shopping in just one day, I am feeling quite cream crackered tonight!
I thought being knackered was the same as saying you are tired, to be honest - nothing a good night’s sleep won’t cure.

Really just Xmas as the be all

Tired
the grinding long drawn fatigue of hardly functioning after 12 hours on your feet. I don’t really use the word knackered, it always makes me think of the knackers yard, and I would hope none of us are that bad yet! :joy:

Wasn’t it Joe Pescali who popularized the slang “Cream Crackers” :grinning:

‘‘Slang’’, they are Called Cream Crackers, falsely of course
why are they falsely called Cream Crackers?
Come on Spits
answer that truthfully,
See you can’t can you

What you don’t say when pulled over after leaving the pub. :grinning:

Nope Di, it’s got nothing to do with me, I just take each day as it comes and deal with the problems if and when. Never worry about something you can’t control.

I’m always tired these days and I just wish I had some energy but it just won’t come. I could sleep on a washing line any minute of any day. I think it might be something to do with my AF

Artificial feet??? :anguished:

Standard Cockney Rhyming Slang, I think!

@Tedc , Yeah but it’s " cream crackered " !
Not " cream crackers" !!
