But which ones were fully operational, maneuverable hypersonic missiles? The fact that Iran has lots and lots of missiles and the beeb has video of some of them is not the same as them have trialed, proven and produced hypersonic missiles with a range that could reach the UK.
I agree L, at no point in time have I ever suggested otherwise, that is where some posters get confused. However, the number shown was massive, as was the extent of the tunnels, and some missiles were confirmed as hypersonic in nature, which suggests, perhaps with continued help, intercontinental versions will be in sight. Iran’s state television has aired footage of a secret underground missile base where medium and long-range missiles were being stored.

Apart from when you claimed Iran had hypersonic missiles pointed at London, no you’ve not suggested such things, apart from that repeated claim.
Look, what you are seeing in all these missiles is an intelligent response to a known threat from vastly superior military forces (US and Israel). I think the Iran regime is dreadful but somewhat admire the preparations, planning and tactics against such superior forces. They focus on low cost tech and geographic strengths while the US has invested massively in incredibly complex and expensive equipment … and thought that would be enough. In launching this war Trump has made nothing better, achieved nothing significant and triggered an economic and energy crisis. Which bit of that is hard to understand?

You have spent a good bit of this thread, and other threads, pushing the (false) claim that Iran is an imminent thread to the gulf and beyond. This is one of the two justifications that you use in support of Trump’s war. It is the justification you use to be gleeful about the attacks on Iran. You can chose to believe this Trump lie, but please do not push the claim and then pretend that you have never pushed the claim.

Yes ma’am, tis true, but try following the history of religion with an open mind (ancient religions to present), you’ll find religion has always been more of a “means to an end / an excuse”, absolutely the same as politics, and take note, there were Pagan God’s as well. As a matter of fact the birth of Jesus Christ celebrated birthday of Dec.25th is actually a Pagan holiday, the winter solstice (, birthday of the sun god Sol Invictus) adopted by Emperor Constantine in the 4th century, aimed to facilitate the conversion of pagans to Christianity.

I don’t think religion motivated the Romans and they didn’t try to convert those lands the conquered to their faith. I wouldn’t say it motivated the British Empire to be formed either. Hitler & Stalin were also not motivated by faith. So yes I agree it’s used as a tool but I don’t agree that religion is inherently evil. There are good and bad people that’s all. Always were, always will be.
Never said religion was evil/ good, it’s how it is used that makes it evil / good, evil / good is in man (species). Most ardent religious believers tend to be “followers”, not leaders, and it only takes 1 charismatic leader to sway them. What makes you good/ evil is already there, within you, you just decide what you’re going to do with it. You might credit an unseen Deity, but YOU made the conscious decision to be a “good person”, you could’ve easily gone in the other direction.
