Petty attacks from people who should know better on a genuine poster are absolutely wrong.

13 U.S military.
Not one mentioned how wrong it is to attack tourist sites. Especially the one the care so much about innocent lives being lost.
Those are know as acceptable loses. But the arm chair warriors know this.

I saw a clip of Hegseth doing his religious prayer bit on Monday. I find the guy as bad, if not worse than Trump.
At the risk of being factual, if anyone thinks Nazi Don is in Iran over anything other than oil ( and his thinking Iran would be a soft hit) , they are the “true arm chair warriors” or just plain propagandist, of course, that is their indoctrination. Trump would never have went into Ukraine, 1-because without Putin Nazi Don would not have gained the White House in 2016, and 2- Nazi Don is not going up against his Russian handler!

They’ve obviously never read anything Jesus Christ has supposed to have said.
eg: “What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?”
As Earth is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things, being a tiny “pale blue dot” in an unfathomably vast universe, and a soul does not exist, I cannot answer that one.

I still can’t understand how the US was so stupid to get into a war that it now can’t get out of. Surely they must have some sensible people in the higher echelons of power who realised what would happen?

A much better subject for a thread Senile, in fact, yesterday I ordered several books on whether humans are fit to live on the planet and matters of a similar vein. The consensus is that humans are fit to survive but are currently engaged in reckless activities, like Iran getting the bomb, that threaten our long-term habitability on the planet. The future will depend on shifting from an economy-driven society to one that prioritises the ecosystem, rather than petty self-interests.
I received an email this morning from one of the old missing posters. Still just alive and looking for a forum to look in.
Perhaps the USA should fill the Strait with mines and let them all sort it out.
