As I have often said here, the royals are what they are. And they are yours. You can love them or hate them…or think they are petty teenagers. Your royals…your business. We still have the Queen as Queen of Australia. She accept that role with grace and we are happy to have her. So is Canada, New Zealand …etc etc. The rest of the royals are irrelevant…including Philip. We (Australians in general) have no problem with Harry and Meghan at all. We (myself and my wife) like Oprah.It’s not exactly high viewing no. But who cares? And Muddy sorry again!..I actually missed the video. THat bloody lone brain cell again!!.I just watched it…NOw I’m trying to get off the floor…

but taking offence for those two seems to be their whole raison d’etre. 
Can you guys answer a question for me. It’s a serious one. A preamble first. As I said before for better or worse the royals are yours, not ours. You are much closer to them than we are here. They are much more a part of your lives. I remember when Princess Di was the , most ;oved woman in the world. From London to New York to Paris to Sydney she was adored beyond belief. But apart from her all we ever heard from Britain was how much they detested the rest of them. Now that hate seems to have gone into overdrive. In the two years I have been on this site I have read nothing but venom from everybody about them. Even the Queen hasn’t escaped it although she is mostly spared the worst of it. I sit back in my chair and wonder why you hate them so much. You have this young woman who has appeared only in the last couple of years and I can’t believe the nastiness I read. I think to myself… god I would have thought it would have taken more than a couple of years to come to loathe her that much. I am genuinely puzzled. Every time any of the royals have come here…apart perhaps from the perenially sour, rude and misery faced Princess Anne, seem to have a ball. CHarles once confided in somebody close to me that he wished he could just move to Australia and stay here. This is an honest question. If you can’t answer it civilly…don’t post…But why do you hate them so much??..Thanks.

I’m sure she’s revelling in all this media attention at the moment. What on earth is she going to do when the interest all dies down?
As far as I’m concerned, the Queen has never put a foot wrong. Anne is very much the same; she doesn’t parade herself around seeking attention (like a certain so-called ‘actress’!). Phil is, admittedly, outspoken and seen even as rude by some, but I like him… perhaps I’m like him!
As for the rest, Charlie-boy was always a bit of a wimp; Andrew, well, the least said the better; Edward even more of a wimp who couldn’t make more than a couple of weeks in the RM, but nevertheless parades around in a fancy uniform he has never earned; William seems OK so far and perhaps time will tell.
Harry Hewitt, well, I think I’ve said all I need to say about MeAgain’s dog and, for that matter, the failed actress he married. Neither are Royals now anyway.
Brilliant! I would happily watch the two hour version if it was like that.
