I used to but have found quick oats do the job and work well in the microwave. I add a blob of butter not pepper and salt.

Mrs d00d does the breakfast everyday: porridge (no salt, pepper, honey or sugar), grapes, blueberries, one prune, one semi dried apricot.
I do have a little honey (no milk) in my mug of Assam.
Its no myth - that was my fatherâs only way to have his porridge. But Iâd guess it is moving towards a myth as my own preference is with honeyâŠ
Honey and seeds go in my porridge each morning, but my daughter reckons the squeezy honey I buy from Tesco is crap and I should be using proper honey from the farm.

I stir my blueberries into the porridge and pop the dish in the microwave for a minute until they are hot and the juices just beginning to burst through.
It turns the porridge a streaky purple colour but I think it tastes nicer ![]()
No honey on mine - too sweet for me.
Oh yes, blueberries in porridge, the best. I tried something different this morning, weetabix with almond milk and blueberries, yummy.
