The End of The Pandemic in Sight says WHO

@Psmith. Yeah, the key word though is “estimated” ??
Even the “actual” deaths were “estimates” due to the corpses having had
serious pre-existing conditions, so no cause of death could be proved ??
They now put the two together in order to justify all the expenditure !
Who will admit to making such a large misjudgement after all ??:roll_eyes::+1::+1:

Strange how the naysayers also want to use the same set of figures to argue their own point. Heck, you even used the estimate to calculate a percentage.

Most flu deaths are also of people with pre-existing conditions. But they are still included in flu mortality statistics because if that person did not contract flu it is highly unlikely they would have died at that point in time.

I was sure you reported Mrs Fox having the vaccine, perhaps I am mistaken.

No Bruce, neither of us had the vaccines. Mrs Fox did have the flu vaccine.

Just to clarify about my heart health…I had a heart attack back in 2004.
I recovered from that one fairly well and was back running half marathons four years later in 2008.
I had my second heart attack in 2014.
Although I did make a good recovery, Mrs Fox and my daughter banned me from running any more events, but I did continue running for pleasure, up to 8 miles. The second heart attack had taken it’s toll and times were poor, even over short distances.
By 2019 I knew something was wrong, but it wasn’t until July 2021 that I could no longer run and sought the help of a specialist. It was then that they discovered the scar tissue from my previous heart attacks had affected the electrical system in my heart causing it to go into VF (ventricle fibrillation) Following the diagnosis in July, we both caught Covid in late August that year.

I’m happy to report that since recovering from covid I have progressed with walking and more recently running over short distances.
